Dr. Drew and his caring team take pride in providing you with the best experience possible. With our 25 years of dental expertise, compassion, and state-of-the-art advances, we strive to create a safe and comfortable environment. Our office meets and surpasses all OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and CDC (Center for Disease Control) standards, and will continue to do so to ensure the safety of our patients and team members.
In the unprecedented era of COVID-19, our team is fully committed to your family’s safety and comfort. We are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you and every patient safe during your next visit. Here is what you can expect before and during your appointment at Julian S. Drew DDS.
We are pre-screening all patients for symptoms or high-risk activity when scheduling appointments. All patients are asked a series of questions before scheduling to help effectively screen patients. If a patient is symptomatic or is at high risk for infection, they will be asked to post-pone their treatment appointment.
Hand sanitizer is available at the front desk for hand sanitation. Gloves are also available to patients and visitors. After each patient visit, the reception area surfaces are wiped for disinfection. All high-touch areas are sanitized between each use, including chairs, doorknobs, counters, pens, and tools.
Our treatment rooms are equipped with a hospital-grade filter air purifier to clean the air. All surfaces are cleaned with CDC-approved disinfectant between appointments for enhanced sanitation. We have a dedicated sterilization station featuring the latest innovative technology to keep our instruments clean and ready to use for your next visit.
Our team is screened each day for symptoms of the virus, and their temperature is taken before entering. Any team member with symptoms is required to stay home until cleared by their medical doctor. Our entire team uses CDC-approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for increased staff and patient safety. You can expect all team members to be fully equipped with a face mask, gown, gloves, and face shield.
Dr. Drew and our team will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and do everything we can to protect our valued patients. We sincerely thank you for your family’s cooperation and understanding during this time.
